Job Description


The Automotive Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for day to day processing of Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure are maintained in effective, up to date and accurate manner. This position is classified as non- exempt from applicable wage and hour laws. Following is a list of certain minimum required duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, subject to applicable law. This list is not all inclusive and may be amended or supplemented as business needs dictate.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the reconciliation of open accounts

  • Collects AR from vendors

  • Researches and resolves account discrepancies

  • Posts and reconciles all account receivable payments

  • Submits deposit to financial institutions

  • Responds to vendor inquires in a timely and professional manner

  • Communicates with department managers in an effort to clear open items

  • Maintains accurate accounting schedules

  • Individuals employed in this position must be able to read, and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence.

  • Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
