Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for handling the flow of people through business and providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This position is classified as non-exempt from applicable wage and hour laws. Following is a list of certain minimum required duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the position, subject to applicable law. This list is not all inclusive and may be amended or supplemented as business needs dictate.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for welcoming customers with a warm and sincere greeting

  • Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction

  • Answers phone call in a professional and courteous manner

  • Transfers phone calls or take written messages when needed personnel not available

  • Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail

  • Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc)

  • Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies

  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing

  • Shares cashier responsibilities and processes as required

  • Follows company safety procedures and policies

  • Individuals employed in this position must have knowledge of basic arithmetic and skill in handling and counting cash accurately

  • Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate organizational and time management skills
  • Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
  • Individual employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
